Overview
AI: SHIPPING AGENTS, FAST AND SLOW
An executive roundtable for CTOs, CIOs, CISOs and business leaders reconciling the mandate to ship AI with the mandate to protect it — hosted by Vercel and The Argonauts Series.
Vercel is thrilled to launch its own AI Series, an exclusive thought leadership initiative powered by The Argonauts Series. The series looks to convene CTOs, CIOs, CISOs and broader business leaders to address some of the biggest questions of the era.
The Series kicks off in Melbourne with an executive roundtable and 3-course lunch on Wed 11 November. While public conversation has turned to caution and calls to slow AI progress, this roundtable takes the contrarian, evidence-led position that the real exposure for most organisations is under-adoption — not over-adoption.
The discussion reframes the question from "should we slow down?" to "what does responsible speed actually look like?" — reconciling the CTO's mandate to ship fast with the CISO's mandate to protect, and addressing the quieter third pressure both now share: the rising, often unowned cost of AI infrastructure and token spend.

What you will get out of it
A clearer view of what “responsible speed” looks like when shipping AI into production
How peer CTOs and CISOs reconcile velocity with governance — and control spend as they scale
New relationships forged in a room of 20 senior leaders
